Plant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the production facility (automation, design and assembly departments) ensuring timely completion of projects, quality of production and operational efficiency
  • Organising operational processes in a way that ensures the achievement of the set objectives
  • Analysing key indicators and adjusting actions to optimise them based on Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Conduct operational and strategic activities to improve P&L, quality, customer service
  • Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Managing internal projects
  • Implementing innovations, improvements and technology development
  • Collaborating with management in the development of strategic plans
  • Building lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners
  • Motivating and developing the production team, ensuring high levels of employee engagement
  • Ensuring that production meets all required industry norms and standards

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in automation, manufacturing engineering or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operational management, preferably in the industrial automation industry
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in building and managing diverse teams
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry specifics
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively
  • Ability to negotiate and build lasting business relationships
  • Knowledge of industry norms and standards
  • Ability to make difficult business decisions and deal with a dynamic complex manufacturing environment
  • Excellent work organisation and ability to manage projects effectively
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a stationary capacity in Skawina
