Mechanical designer

Place of work: Skawina/Ostrów Wielkopolski

Responsibilities:

Development of a technical concept based on product specifications
Design of new and modification of existing items
Preparation of 3D/2D design documents and monitoring of manufacturing processes
Selection of suitable commercial components for the application
Responsibility for the selection of suitable building materials and their thermo-chemical treatment
Involvement in the installation and commissioning of workstations
Preparation of pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams, FMEA analyses, hazard analyses
Co-operation with other departments of the company working on a specific product
Preparation of station instructions
Familiarisation with and improvement of the use of the database – Siemens Teamcenter.

Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Good knowledge of technical drawing
Good knowledge of mechanics and mechanical engineering, pneumatics, materials science, machining 
Good command of Solid Works and Autocad
High level of work organisation
Ability to communicate at a high level
Ability to work in a team Independence in decision making  
Ability to communicate in English
