Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

Implementation of the company’s strategy through the creation, management, and development of an integrated Supply Chain Management (SCM) system
Development and implementation of a plan for the effective implementation of the supply chain management strategy in line with the organization’s development direction, including improvements and increased business efficiency
Supporting sales and operational activities such as business planning, supply chain and production (S&OP)
Building and developing long-term relationships with suppliers
Planning inventory and production capacity
Creating production plans and monitoring their implementation
Integration and cooperation with companies in the group to optimize the supply chain, cooperation with strategic partners
Implementing the necessary tools for efficient management of business processes and their development
Managing a team in two company locations (planning, purchasing, logistics, other support functions)
Developing the subordinate team through mentoring support, setting goals and evaluating progress in their implementation, creating space for sharing knowledge and experience
Managing the budget for the SCM area
Close cooperation with company management
Reporting on activities, projects, and goal implementation to the Management Board

Requirements:

Higher education in supply chain management, logistics, production management or related fields
At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry
Highly developed managerial skills – at least 5 years of experience in team management
Very good knowledge of English allowing for fluent communication, knowledge of German will be an additional advantage
Knowledge of ERP software (knowledge of MS-Dynamics is welcome)
Knowledge of modern methods of logistics process organization
Analytical and conceptual skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under time pressure
Negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
High interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team
