Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the company’s strategy through the creation, management, and development of an integrated Supply Chain Management (SCM) system
  • Development and implementation of a plan for the effective implementation of the supply chain management strategy in line with the organization’s development direction, including improvements and increased business efficiency
  • Supporting sales and operational activities such as business planning, supply chain and production (S&OP)
  • Building and developing long-term relationships with suppliers
  • Planning inventory and production capacity
  • Creating production plans and monitoring their implementation
  • Integration and cooperation with companies in the group to optimize the supply chain, cooperation with strategic partners
  • Implementing the necessary tools for efficient management of business processes and their development
  • Managing a team in two company locations (planning, purchasing, logistics, other support functions)
  • Developing the subordinate team through mentoring support, setting goals and evaluating progress in their implementation, creating space for sharing knowledge and experience
  • Managing the budget for the SCM area
  • Close cooperation with company management
  • Reporting on activities, projects, and goal implementation to the Management Board

Requirements:

  • Higher education in supply chain management, logistics, production management or related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry
  • Highly developed managerial skills – at least 5 years of experience in team management
  • Very good knowledge of English allowing for fluent communication, knowledge of German will be an additional advantage
  • Knowledge of ERP software (knowledge of MS-Dynamics is welcome)
  • Knowledge of modern methods of logistics process organization
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under time pressure
  • Negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
  • High interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team
