Senior Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

Preparation and implementation of the purchasing strategy for the assigned product group,
Procurement of new and maintenance of business relationships with existing suppliers,
Conducting project-related/strategic purchasing negotiations and at the level of long-term contracts,
Auditing of suppliers with production profile (processing),
Maintaining a stable supply chain,
Preparing enquiries and contracts, analysing offers, awarding and monitoring contracts,
Preparing reports and presenting status reports to internal/external clients,
Control of project budget and schedule,
Initiating and overseeing the complaints procedure.

Requirements:

Good communication and interpersonal skills,
Several years of experience in a role requiring commercial negotiation skills, as a buyer/procurer in an international environment,
Knowledge of technical drawing for the selection of manufacturing technology and supplier,
Mastery of MS-Office tools, knowledge of ERP software (MS-Dynamics) is an advantage,
Good commercial sense and understanding of contract management principles,
Very good command of written and spoken English (a prerequisite),
Analytical skills in a transactional environment and the ability to multi-task,
Knowledge of the automotive industry is an advantage, Negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and planning,
