Head of Service & After Sales

Place of work: Skawina

Join us and start working as part of a team that designs, builds and implements state-of-the-art production lines and testers for our customers around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating the terms and conditions of service contracts and after-sales services with customers at home and abroad
  • Development and coordination of joint service within the business group
  • Building a positive image of the company and maintaining long-term relations with customers
  • Development of the after-sales market and implementation of new solutions to increase competitiveness
  • Initiating and implementing changes and optimising processes to increase the profitability of the department
  • Supervision of the execution of service requests and contracts in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions
  • Management of the service portfolio and creation of modern solutions that provide a competitive advantage
  • Management and development of the service team in the company’s headquarters (Skawina, Ostrów Wielkopolski)
  • Adapting the team’s activities to the requirements of the dynamically developing market and the needs of customers
  • Regular reporting on the implementation of activities, projects and achieved objectives to C-level based on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position in an operational or related area, gained in a manufacturing, engineering or technical company.
  • Higher technical education (mechanical engineering/automation/robotics/project management or related)
  • Ability to initiate and implement changes, improvements and new processes in the organisation
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering, production processes and assembly lines
  • Ability to build and develop interdisciplinary teams, ability to motivate employees and effectively manage human resources
  • Experience in negotiations and consistency in the implementation of activities in accordance with the company’s strategy
  • Ability to organise work based on processes and strive for continuous improvement of activities
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with customers, high awareness of customer needs and commitment to providing the highest level of service (customer obsession)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • High level of personal culture, professionalism in business relations and ability to represent the company at a high level
  • Driving licence cat. B and willingness to travel on business – both nationally and internationally.
  • Knowledge of German would be an advantage
