Assembly Department Manager OW

Place of work: Ostrów Wielkopolski

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for the productivity of the team and support of project execution, organization, coordination, and supervision of assembly work
  • Orientation towards the achievement of your own and your team’s objectives
  • Systematically completing production reports, scheduling assembly work, and supervising the timely completion of tasks
  • Preparation of documents necessary for the coordination of assembly work for supported orders
  • Cooperation with project leaders in order to optimize resources
  • Monitoring of daily problems in the subordinate area, coordination of daily team meetings, goal setting, team development, and people management
  • Recruitment of new employees to the team
  • Working closely with and mentoring other leaders within the department and across departments,
  • Training and motivating the team to develop their skills, evaluating the team’s performance according to the organization’s standards
  • Administrative work related to human resources in the team, i.e. allocation of holidays, approval of business trips, settlement and approval of overtime, in cooperation with the head of the department, responsibility for the salary budget
  • Informing the internal customer of production risks in accordance with the production plan
  • Cooperation with subcontractors and external companies

Requirements:

  • Mentoringu i prowadzenia szkoleń dla członków zespołów
  • Technical education (electrical, automation, mechatronics)
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position in a production company
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in organising work and projects in mechanical and electrical assembly structures
  • Very good knowledge of the English language to enable you to communicate freely
  • Communication skills at a very high level
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies adopted by the company 
  • Managing and developing people (motivation, appraisal, development)
  • Mentoring and providing training to team members
